PRODUCER        :DOMAINE VASSILIOU.

OENOLOGIST   :George P.Vassiliou.

VARIETY            :Savatiano, entirely barrel fermented,aged six months in new French oak barrels.

REGION             :Koropi, Attica-Greece.

VINEYARD        :From our 15 hectares vineyard spread at ‘Kokkinara’  area at Koropi.Output per hectare,(approx.)3500kgr. Vineyard’s age 26 years old.

SOIL                   :Sandy-clay.

CLIMATE          :Mild winter, Dry summer.

VINTAGE          :2nd and 3rd weeks of September.

VINIFICATION:Hand gathering of grapes. Carried in small lattices. Entirely barrel fermented in French oak barrels  for six months.Aging in bottles can last 3-4 years.

BOTTLING      :In our Winery.First bottled in 1996.

TASTING CHARACTERISTICS:Here is a big and ripe Savatiano  with vanilla,butter,chestnut and toasted oak gallore.

ALC/VOL:13%                SUGAR:1,5gr/lt                ACIDITY:5,0gr/lt

ACCOMPANIES:Greek and International gastronomy.
